Sam brings over 20 years experience in International Business, Sales, Marketing and Finance. He has appeared on Good Morning America and has been featured in several publications including New York Times, People Magazine, Ebony, Black Enterprise, and EuroMoney celebrating his business success at such a young age. Dan Clark one of authors of the best-selling “Chicken Soup for The Soul Series” wrote a chapter about him in his 2008 best-seller “Soul Food Volume 1″.

When he was only 18, Sam was CEO of a mortgage finance company. At the age of 18 Sam was the youngest person to ever receive the Young Entrepreneur award from then President Ronald Reagan. He managed investments in the stock, bonds, commodities and foreign exchange markets for a private hedge fund based in the Caribbean with a charitable and Christian focus. The fund was quite successful. In 1998 the fund started a successful Venture Capital Division called e-International Business.com whose goal was to develop the Caribbean into a major software outsourcing center. The project provided employment opportunities for many disenfranchised youth in the Caribbean by teaching them web development skills.

Mercy Ships’ floating hospitals provide medical care to the poorest people in the world.
